What Is a Fanlisting?

According to The Anime Fanlistings Network:

A fanlisting is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject.

What Is Mahou Tsukai Tai! ?

Mahou Tsukai Tai! (魔法使いTai!; Magic User's Club!) is a 6-episode OVA (1996) and a 13-episode TV series (1999). In both series, the main characters are Sawanoguchi Sae, Aikawa Akane, Nakatomi Nanaka, Takakura Takeo, and Aburatsubo Ayanojou. These five form the Magic User's Club, whose main purpose is to teach and practice magic.

While the OVA focuses on the club's many botched attempts to defeat the alien invaders coming from the Bell, the TV series is more slice-of-life and sillier. If you came here for a detailed synopsis, watching the series would be easier to digest. :P

In addition to the anime, there were two manga series: a shoujo one by Outa Tami (Ohta Tammy) that ran in ASUKA Fantasy DX in 1996, and a shounen one by Shamuneko (Shamneko) in Kadokawa's Dragon Junior in 1999. While nothing outside of the anime is licensed in the States, you can find more information at Sae's Magic Hat.

About the Site

Adopted in August 2006, REACH & FOLLOW was originally opened by Nina on 21 January, 2004. After thirteen years, I wanted to give the site a proper makeover, and thus, the second layout was born! Though this was originally conceived in 2013, it was forcefully shelved after I lost the the pages to the recycle bin.

Thirteen years later in August 2019, I decided to go ahead and code a brand new layout instead of salvaging my original vision. This one shamelessly borrows from its predecessor, but is much more modern-browser-friendly.

May it last the test of time a little better this time around. The new site name is a reference to the OVA opening, and the banner image is from a high-res scan of the Complete Collection's cover. X)
