001 - Nanami [30 December 2002]: This was one of the first pictures I drew that wasn't erased after the head was done. XD If you're wondering where I got her name, Nanami is the effeminate Puchuu Gun from the Excel Saga anime.
002 - Shinguji Sakura (Sakura Taisen) [23 February 2003]: I tried to copy an image of Sakura from a bootleg DVD cover of the movie, but I messed up on her fingers. Ratchet was also on the cover behind Sakura, but I didn't want to inconvenience myself with two people in one image. ^-^;
003 - Nanami the Maid [26 February 2003]: I was told to draw towels being changed in my Spanish II class, and this was the picture I brought to class. I tried to draw a French maid outfit and failed; also, she's supposed to be in the bathroom, but my teacher thought she was waiting for someone instead. ._.;
004 - Anti-Shoujo Comic [22 March 2003]: I drew this after having read the Miracle Girls manga. I was not much of a shoujo fan back then, so I tried to prove a point about mushy shoujo with this comic. My opinions have changed since I drew this; I absolutely love the genre now. @_@
005 - Princess Serenity (Sailor Moon) [23 March 2003]: This was my first satisfactory drawing of semi-copied girl with her arms and hands. XD I used a few images for reference and just went at it, complete with an attempt at the old-fashioned, super-sparkly, shoujo eye (even though she only has one shine). This was also one of the first pieces I inked with a pen. =)
006 - Drenched [19 April 2003]: What can I say? I still think it looks nice after all these years. =P It was originally the new Nanami for version 2.0 of my site, but it was scrapped. I got lazy after drawing her upper body, so her umbrella's sloppy. There is also a blue-tint version; click here to see it.
007 - Stairs [17 May 2003]: I drew this after reading a bit too much Saiyuki (a good manga for those who want a dose of bishounen and blood). The girl I made up is freakishly skinny, and she's going down stairs. I was pretty satisfied with the half-view I did on this. XD
008 - Freefalling [23 June 2003]: If you imagine that she's fallen off her broom, you'll understand what's going on. XD I drew this shortly after watching Mahou Tsukai Tai's first episode; if you watched it, you'll notice this is somewhat like Nanaka's drop. @.@;
009 - Eku53ru [27 June 2003]: This was a semi-self portrait of myself, but it didn't turn out too well. =P It's more like what Eku53ru'd look like if she were drawn in a comic. Yes, I'm referring to myself in the third person; what of it? This was done during the drawing phase that my friend labeled as "chibi." XD
010 - Not So Happy [30 June 2003]: I drew this after having seen the older Ropponmatsu in the Excel Saga anime; I had some urge to draw a sad, crying girl afterwards. I draw some of the oddest things while I'm in the middle of doing stuff, though, and this one didn't turn out too bad.
011 - Chibi Guy [04 October 2003]: Over merely four months' time, my art style improved/changed! My only blurp on this was the size of his head, and that his hands are in his pockets. Blargh. XD
012 - Excel, Holiday Time [08 November 2003]: This was drawn after I felt more confident in drawing Excel in my own style. I really liked the drawing because I thought it'd be suitable for a serious ES doujinshi, seeing as Excel's normally too energetic to post like this.
013 - Excel, Dress [8 November 2003]: I drew this shortly after the holiday time piece, and messed up on her hair in the process. XD She just looks happy here, and she's got a thumb up for some reason.
014 - Excel, Laying [14 November 2003]: No dirty thoughts! >.O! I was reading the October 2003 issue of Animerica and discovered Witch Hunter Robin, so I was motivated to test-draw Excel in a similar position Robin had been lying in. I tried to do that with my drawing, but failed. @_@
015 - Kneeling [19 November 2003]: I drew this during the evacuation drill (don't ask) at school, and I was alone in my class because my friends were stuck staying with their classes. While I was inking it a guy from another class crawled over and knocked into my backpack. It fell on me, I twiched a bit, the guy didn't notice nor apologize, and his friend yelled at him for disrespecting my "drawing time." Overall, I failed at the drawing; no harm done. o_O
