Color/CG Works

I apologize for the pitiful amount of colored works; you can say I'm more of a lineart person. XP I am experimenting with vectors though, so I might stick some of them here. Until then, please make an effort to not laugh too much at my art. ;w;

Currently viewing pieces 1 to 11 (of 11) works in this gallery; pieces are displayed from oldest (first page) to newest (last page).

001 - Mother's Day Oekaki [11 May 2003]
Mother's Day Oekaki [11-05-2003]
I drew this on MS Paint because I was rather bored, no offense. XD I was not really confident about my oekaki skills--I mean, it's drawing with a mouse. o__O This is the first one I ever drew offline, and I think it looks okay. You can use it as an e-Card if you like, but make sure you credit me somehow and as for permission first. XD
002 - Excel, Dress [27 November 2003]
Excel, Dress [27-11-2003]
I initially finished coloring this on 26 November, but I put some additional touches to it on the 27th. XD I don't think it looks that bad, but I should've colored in her gloves; they look so blank without color. x.x If you want to see the original drawing, it is #013 in the Drawings section.
003 - Freefalling [27 November 2003]
Freefalling [27-11-2003]
I began this in July 2003, but I lost interest in finishing it until November came around. By the end of July I had her shoes and seifuku done, and by 27 November I had everything else. I wanted to make it look as if she were falling through clouds, but it didn't look right. If you'd like to see the original drawing, it's #008 n the drawings section.
004 - New Year's Eve [31 December 2003]
New Year's Eve [31-12-2003]
I drew this early in the morning at approximately 2AM. I got really bored and decided to color it in, hoping that my coloring skills would not mar the original image. XD I originally had a grayscaled version of this up, too, but my new art gallery system doesn't allow me to really add it. XP
005 - Oekaki Scratchboard [29 January 2004]
Oekaki Scratchboard [29-01-2004]
Go ahead and laugh; it didn't take me long to draw it, so it's not very pretty. XP I got a new mouse, so the precision improved a great deal. I was experimenting with the chisel-point brush on MS Paint; her colors are off, but we'll ignore that fact. =3
006 - Oekaki Shoujo [31 January 2004]
Oekaki Shoujo [31-01-2004]
This isn't colored in because I only drew the outline; I planned on coloring it in later on Fireworks, but we can see that I've gotten nowhere. :P
007 - Annoyed Singer [03 April 2004]
Annoyed Singer [03-04-2004]
I was sorta bored and tired of looking at the lineart for this, so I decided to color it in using Adobe PhotoDeluxe Executable. XD It's an improvement from the ones I had done before, but it's still a long stretch from where I want to be, CG-wise. I love the shading I did on the wine glass, as well as the candle; her eyes are supposed to be dark brown, but you can't really see it that well. Her hair's a shade of deep blue, and the shadows are hard to see because of that. There was a grayscale version of this too, but my new gallery system doesn't allow me to put it up. XP
008 - Jing Colored [19 June 2004]
Jing Colored [19-06-2004]
Since I previously had not colored on Fireworks before, I decided to give it a try one day; this was the result. I took a character design sheet for Jing (of Oudorobou Jing) from the ADV Films website and colored it in. Not too shabby, huh? :3
009 - Gaia Contest: Color [12 September 2004]
Gaia Contest: Color [12-09-2004]
This is the color version of a drawing I actually entered in an art contest on Gaia. On 15 January, the person who ran the contest officially cancelled it due to a lack of entries, and gave everyone who entered consolation prizes. XD; I got 6k from it, so I was happy. >3;
010 - Shinobi, colored [17 December 2004]
Shinobi, colored [17-12-2004]
This was a gift I gave to a friend that I once called Cloud (he now prefers Shinobi XD). This wasn't too bad for a coloring job of mine at that time; I experimented wtih a few techniques and they came together nicely. Cloud was elated upon its arrival. TwT
011 - drifter, colored [30 April 2005]
drifter, colored [30-04-2005]
Nothing much to really say, but this was the first coloring job I had done in a while. When I finished drawing the original drifter image, I inked it and had the urge to color it. I guess it turned out all right; however, the colors are still a bit flat. I need to work on color depth more, or something. XD
